THE TRANSFORMATION OF IZAIAH DEON
From a turbulent youth and descent into addiction to MMA fighter, bodybuilding champion, and spiritual guide. This is the raw, unfiltered story of overcoming immense adversity to find a deeper meaning in life.
Timeline of Transformation
Izaiah's life can be segmented into distinct phases, each contributing to his eventual spiritual and personal evolution.
A Foundation of Instability and Trauma
Izaiah's childhood was marked by instability and trauma. He lived in approximately 20 different houses across multiple provinces in Canada as well as America, and attended 10-12 different schools.
His family life was turbulent, with his father being a crack addict who was abusive, as well as a criminal which led to his incarceration and eventual deportation. His mother struggled as a single mom. His stepfather's involvement in drugs led to a house raid and his imprisonment.
These experiences forced Izaiah to mature quickly and take on adult responsibilities at a young age.
Tragedy and the Beginning of Numbness
A pivotal and tragic period. Izaiah suffered a series of injuries, one of which caused nerve damage. The most significant event was the mysterious death of his best friend, who was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
Izaiah blamed himself for the death, which triggered a psychological shift and a spiral into grief. He began suppressing his emotions and using painkillers to cope with physical and emotional pain.
Athletic Excellence Masking Self-Destruction
Despite his personal struggles, Izaiah excelled as a star athlete, becoming an all-star linebacker, wrestler, and rugby player.
However, this period was also characterized by a descent into heavy drug abuse, including marijuana, alcohol, steroids, and other illicit substances. He engaged in self-destructive behaviors and even smuggled drugs across the border.
His coaches were aware of his drug use but did not intervene, as it allowed him to play through injuries. This destructive lifestyle led to brain damage and a deepening addiction.
The First Awakening
Izaiah was able to graduate high school, finish with academic excellence in law, and become valedictorian and provincial head of class. This was his first wave of serious reflection after a 16-day drug bender and seeing his imminent failure on the horizon.
He discovered the Celestine Prophecy and Eckhart Tolle. This period marks the beginning of Izaiah's spiritual awakening. After weeks of studying chakras and "new age" spirituality, he had a profound psychedelic experience with magic mushrooms.
This journey led to a powerful realization of the interconnectedness of all things and a release of his old identity. A week later, another experience was followed by a dream in which he tore his knee, an event that symbolized the end of his football career and the start of a new path.
He abandoned his scholarship and athletic ambitions, recognizing that his focus had been misplaced.
The Pursuit of Truth
Following his awakening, Izaiah dedicated himself to intense study of eastern religions, philosophy, and new age philosophy and committed to spiritual practice.
He engaged in a multi-layer pursuit of truth. Engaged in deep meditation, breath-work, various forms of prayer and had numerous profound experiences. He completed numerous long fasts to gain deeper awareness of himself, God, and the nature of existence.
Plagued by the spiritual experiences he experienced in meditation, he immersed himself deeply into studies. Reading over 300 books and watching hundreds of hours of lectures on a wide range of subjects, including ontology, self-improvement, hermeticism, biology, psychology, Buddhism, quantum physics, occultism, mythology, and religion.
This period of self-discovery and learning allowed him to process his past trauma from a place of detachment and wisdom, leading to the development of his "Unchained" philosophy.
Shadow Work & The Breaking Point
After years of gaining knowledge and self understanding, he battled internal struggles with partaking in the physical world.
In Izaiah's Own Words:
"I was 160 pounds, on a 7-week bender and slamming more than a Mickey every night. The girl I was seeing at the time had just ghosted me. I had knee and shoulder injuries. I was weak and frail, and was lost and feeling sorry for myself.
I had no purpose or direction in life, and I lacked discipline and passion. Despite endless hours of meditation and reading hundreds of books, I couldn't translate any of the knowledge I had gained into action.
I was a sorry excuse for a man. I had lost my sense of purpose, and my health was deteriorating. I was living off of the government's money, living at my parents."
This led to a powerful journal entry dated January 9th, 2020, where Izaiah confronted his shadow self with radical honesty:
The Truth Is...
- I lack discipline
- I lack self commitment
- I lack drive
- I lack focus
- I am ungrounded
- I am lazy
- I am physically weak
- I am out of touch with the material world
- I am afraid of being great
- I am afraid of being alone
- I am afraid of standing out
- I am afraid of losing relationships
- I am afraid of the new and unknown
- I am afraid to be uncommon
- I am comfortable with stasis and floating
- I always have a reason "not to"
- I hesitate to apply my understanding fully
- I still play the victim
- I don't hold myself accountable
- I lack structure
- I prefer momentary pleasures over long term gains
- I know everything I need to do, yet don't do it
- I take the easier path
- I get influenced by others wills and desires
- I lack patience
"AND THE TRUTH IS... ALL OF THIS MUST BE FACED, ALL OF THIS CAN BE OVERTURNED AND ALL OF THIS SHALL BE CONQUERED.
I've done this work before, but not to the degree needed, that's why I have fallen again. I will continue to get up. Step by step.
Live to die. Die to transform. Transform to live.
Being truthful with yourself isn't being hard on yourself. Don't play yourself.
I in my essence am whole and perfect, so I am not upset or sad that my character or avatar is functioning so poorly. But I seek to play this game to my highest degree, so the character I am using must be leveled up, upgraded, made elite.
Mediocrity Is Hell. Stasis is hell."
The System That Changed Everything
To overcome his identified weaknesses, Izaiah implemented a structured daily routine designed to transmute these unfavorable attributes:
The Daily Protocol
- Wake up at 7am
- Stretching 3 times per day
- Meditation 3 times per day
- Reading 2 times per day
- Workout (daily training session)
- "Psychic training" 2 times per day (focused mental/inner-work practice)
- Cardio (daily)
- Day prep (daily planning/setup)
- Sleep at 11pm
"By sticking to this routine, I will be forced to develop discipline, commitment, drive, focus & concentration.
I will be forced to overcome laziness. I will be forced to hold myself accountable. I will gain structure. I will be forced to head down the harder path. And I will be forced to gain patience.
The easiest parts have been done. Now the work really lies in enacting the power of the will daily. Every moment is a step forward into the new or a step back into the old.
The work isn't easy, challenges and obstacles will arise, I will fail. As a rubberband man I will bounce back and continue to progress.
Nature doesn't bring an easy life. Get primal and harmonize. Do what needs to be done.
I am the architect of my life. Take responsibility. Take action."
The Savage Awakens
"The turning point came when I became disgusted enough to make a change.
I made sacrifices and took the path of most resistance to overcome my addiction. I began focusing on consuming a healthy diet, and started exercising regularly.
I found who David Goggins was, and felt a fire and inspiration to grow and evolve and pull myself out of the rut I was in.
The savage within me began Awakening. My love for life, evolution and growth began consuming me again."
The Transformation Complete
"Today, my life is completely transformed. I have a clear sense of purpose and direction, and every aspect of my life reflects the positive changes I've made.
I've built relationships that reflect who I am, and the future I want. I'm no longer isolated and alone. I have a fulfilling job and am financially stable.
I've started an online coaching business and have started 1 on 1 in person training as well as group coaching. I have won bodybuilding trophies, won MMA fights and BJJ matches.
I'm strong, healthy, and full of passion for life. I have continued to pursue and obtain certifications and skills to benefit my business and serve to a higher degree.
I'm focused, and now am a beacon of light and power to those around me.
Trust me. If you are lost, just know that change is possible. It may be challenging, but with the right support and determination, you can overcome the adversity and find a new purpose and direction in life.
You CAN recreate yourself. ๐โก๏ธ๐ฆ"

Core Beliefs & Philosophy
Izaiah's experiences have cultivated a rich and multifaceted spiritual philosophy that forms the foundation of Team Unchained.
Interconnectedness of Energy
He emphasizes the interconnectedness of emotions and energy, believing that balancing one's emotions is essential for balancing the chakras and allowing the flow of cosmic life force, or kundalini.
Multi-Disciplinary Wisdom
His studies span a vast array of disciplines, from ancient wisdom traditions like Hermeticism and Zen Buddhism to modern scientific fields like quantum mechanics and neurology.
The Physical Vessel
He views the physical body as a mere vessel for expression in the third dimension, asserting that his true existence is eternal, immortal, and spans multiple dimensions.
Discipline Redefined
His concept of discipline is central to his teachings. He defines it not as a rigid set of rules, but as clarity, focus, and the execution of a system aligned with one's deepest desires.
"This philosophy is born from my own struggle with addiction, which I overcame through awareness, clear goals, and a willingness to sacrifice anything that stood in my way.
My mission is to help others break free from their own self-imposed limitations and find their own path to enlightenment, embodying the very essence of the 'Unchained' philosophy."
